Welcome to the blog Unseen Infrastructure! This represents the culmination of building a repository of knowledge and documentation of my experiences in water treatment and wastewater reclamation! I hope to build something that facilitates discussion of water and wastewater treatment and explores some of the bigger topics behind the field as it continues to grow and expand in ways that only seemed like a dream years and decades ago!
So about me?
My name is Chris Bellmyer, and I have been working in the water and wastewater field for over two years. You can find my qualifications in my bio or on my LinkedIn, but I am essentially a licensed operator (possessing various licenses both permanent and temporary for water treatment and wastewater treatment) in the State of Maryland for the Howard County Government working as part of the team that oversees the operations of the Little Patuxent Wastewater Reclamation Plant.
Over the next couple of days, the blog will be developed and fleshed out more in order to best serve its purpose as being a viable and meaningful research tool and facilitator for discussions of various topics in water and wastewater treatment. Our field is so broad and interesting that I would inevitably want to capture and organize this information into something that could benefit both newcomers and seasoned veterans who have stories to share.
